NBA YoungBoy's Detroit Concert Canceled Amid Tour Challenges
The highly anticipated concert by rapper NBA YoungBoy, held at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, has been canceled due to "unforeseen circumstances," as announced by the venue's promoter, 313 Presents. No rescheduled date has been provided yet. Ticket refunds will be automatically processed for credit card purchases, while those transferred will be refunded to the original buyer.
NBA YoungBoy, born Kentrell Gaulden, is currently on his "Make America Slime Again" tour, promoting his latest album "MASA." This cancellation marks the second disruption in less than a month, following a concert in Chicago that was also called off after an incident involving an usher at a previous show in Kansas City. A teenager has since been charged in connection with that assault.
Gaulden previously faced legal issues, including a nearly two-year prison sentence for gun possession, before being pardoned by former President Donald Trump in May. The tour is set to continue with upcoming performances in Philadelphia and Baltimore.
